ITS is proud to announce the University computers will be upgrading to the latest operating system, Windows 10. The upgrade will follow Pace’s Computer Replacement cycle for Faculty and Staff. Those wishing to receive Windows 10 prior to their replacement date can submit a help desk ticket at help.pace.edu or call the ITS Help Desk at 914-773-3333. Requests will be fulfilled based on workload. All ITS computer labs and classrooms are also scheduled to be upgraded to Windows 10 during summer 2018.
One of the reasons for this upgrade is that Microsoft is ending support for Windows 7 on January 14th, 2020, and will no longer provide updates and patches for this operating system.
