Transact System:
Starting on Monday evening, December 14th, the Transact System (https://pace-sp.transactcampus.com/eAccounts) will be protected with Duo Multifactor Authentication (MFA).  All students who already have a device enrolled in Duo, will be prompted to enter their 6-digit Duo MFA passcode as part of the Transact login procedure.  This will not apply to students who are not yet enrolled in Duo MFA.  However, we encourage those students to self-enroll, since MFA may be needed for this and other systems in the near future.  Current staff and faculty are already enrolled in Duo MFA and will be prompted for the Duo passcode when accessing the Transact System.

The Transact System allows students and other Pace members (if applicable) to see their meal plan balances and usage, upload and update their Pace ID photo, and utilize other card services such as activating/deactivating their Pace ID card (e.g. if it’s lost or stolen). For a full list of services, please visit the Auxiliary Services One Card website at: https://www.pace.edu/auxiliary-services/one-card.

MyPace Portal and Banner Applications:
MyPace Portal (https://portal.pace.edu) and Banner Applications will require students to use Duo MFA when logging in beginning on Monday, January 11, 2021.

How to Enroll in Duo MFA:

To enroll in Duo MFA, visit the self-service enrollment portal at www.pace.edu/duo (MyPace Portal username and password required).  For steps on how to use the enrollment portal, please refer to the Duo Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Device Enrollment.

Note: Once enrolled, students will begin to be prompted for their Duo MFA passcode whenever they try to access any protected system.

We encourage you to enroll your device in MFA prior to leaving for the Winter Holiday break in December to ensure unfettered access to the MyPace portal and Banner applications after January 11th.  We expect higher than normal call volumes at the Help Desk in mid-January and it may take longer to assist you with enrollment.

Pace University continues to utilize Duo Multifactor Authentication (MFA) to increase security for user accounts and sensitive data.  This additional step strengthens security measures and mitigates potential system access vulnerabilities.  A full list of protected systems can be viewed at this link: Duo Multifactor Authentication (MFA).
