As of January 2021, Classes LMS is Pace University’s official course learning management system. All faculty/instructors can access their assigned courses by logging in to: https://classes.pace.edu/ with your MyPace username and password.
Classes LMS Training for Faculty/Instructors (and Students):
There are several resources and training opportunities to learn how to teach courses in the Classes LMS.
  • www.pace.edu/classes:
  • View quick-start guides and key information for faculty on how to set up and run your courses in Classes, upload files, communicate with students, and manage grading.
  • Access the video repository from Brightspace, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • www.pace.edu/its/learning-management-system/resources:
  • Join the Classes LMS listserv to get daily updates and detailed information. Over 200 faculty participating currently.
  • www.pace.edu/atevents (faculty/instructors only):
  • Register for one of our upcoming training sessions or daily office hours. You can also view recordings of previously held sessions.
Classes LMS Support for Faculty/Instructors (and Students):
Support is available from the company, Desire to Learn (D2L), and from Pace’s ITS Help Desk and Office of Academic Technology.
  • While logged in to Classes, click the “Help” link in the top blue navigation bar and select “Need Help? Click Here!”. This will bring you to the Brightspace support page. Choose from the following options:
  • Review the “TOP QUESTIONS – FOR INSTRUCTORS” section in the center of the page.
  • Click “INSTRUCTOR” in the grey navigation bar to access more questions and answers.
  • Click “CONTACT SUPPORT” in the grey navigation bar, then click the “Support Request Form” link to enter a help ticket.
  • Click, “CHAT WITH SUPPORT” on the bottom right for immediate access to a technician via chat.
  • Call 1-877-325-7778 for immediate access to a support technician via phone.
  • For assistance from Pace’s ITS Help Desk and/or Office of Academic Technology, send an email to pacehelpdesk@pace.edu (or call 914-773-3333) and provide your course registration number (CRN), your contact information, and issue details. Please note that there may be longer wait times than usual now.
