In an effort to increase our outreach capabilities during major IT service disruptions or system outages, Information Technology Services (ITS) has integrated an additional communication channel available through the MyPace Mobile app notification screen (bell icon). Most Pace members already use the MyPace Mobile app, so this new outreach channel will help ensure that you are promptly informed about more impactful IT service interruptions.

In addition to our regular communication channels, MyPace Mobile app notifications may be used if there’s a widespread disruption or outage that is affecting the Pace Network, Email, Classes LMS, or other critical system, but use of the app for this purpose will be minimal.

For most other issues, we will continue to use our normal methods of communication, including:

IT System Status page: status.pace.edu
Twitter account: twitter.com/pace_infotech (@pace_infotech)
ITNotices-L Email Listserv: itnotices-l@list.pace.edu

We do recommend that you review and/or enable notification settings for the MyPace Mobile app, including showing notifications on the lock screen for your device. This will ensure that you receive our messages promptly if/when they are sent out.

Don’t Have the MyPace Mobile App?

If you don’t currently have the MyPace Mobile app on your device, we strongly recommend that you download it and start taking advantage of all its features. The app brings the Pace University campus to your fingertips and enables you to connect with the community and stay informed. For more information about the app and how to download it, visit the MyPace Mobile app webpage.
