Note: This topic appeared in our April 2020 newsletter, but is being reprinted here since the working-remotely pages continue to be updated with pertinent information and instructions to assist Pace members in accessing the tools and systems they need to complete  necessary tasks while off-campus.

In order to help safeguard the health and well-being of the Pace community during the COVID-19 pandemic, ITS worked with the University’s leadership to create a website to guide faculty, staff, and students through the process of continuing to teach, work, and learn remotely.

The website address is www.pace.edu/working-remotely and it consists of 3 main pages:

  • Faculty: Guidance on how to communicate with students, conduct classes online, and assess course work.
  • Staff: Guidance on how to communicate within teams and perform administrative and/or support functions remotely.
  • Students: Guidance on how to communicate with faculty, join class meetings, and complete course work online.

Each of the web pages contain instructions for accessing the main Pace systems and applications necessary for academic and business continuity.  In addition, they include additional tips and resources to help enhance your experience as you complete teaching and work tasks, as well as course assignments remotely.

ITS also hosts helpful webinars on the use of teaching and collaboration tools, such as Zoom.  In these sessions, you can learn how to use the tools to support students, conduct meetings and also connect with others in the Pace Community.  The webinar schedule can be viewed at: https://www.pace.edu/atevents.

If you have any questions about the ‘Working-Remotely’ website content, please contact ITS Help Desk at (914) 773-3333, or via email: pacehelpdesk@pace.edu, or online:help.pace.edu.  An ITS representative will review your question and follow up with you.
