The PaceAlert system delivers time-sensitive emergency notifications via text, e-mail, and/or telephone to the Pace University community. Pace students, staff, and faculty are automatically enrolled via their Pace email based on their home campus upon registering for courses or joining Pace as an employee. In addition, members are able to add alternate contact methods, such as a personal email or phone number where voice alerts or SMS text messages can be sent.
A new self service opt-out feature was introduced recently, which will allow members to opt out of receiving any future alerts by removing the additional contact methods mentioned above. They can make the desired changes by visiting alert.pace.edu. The new opt-out option is located at the bottom of the form. Please note, active Pace students, faculty, and staff can not opt out from receiving alerts via their Pace email address.
