A review process of our Learning Management System has started based on our poor experience with Blackboard’s new Ultra system, and the likely ending of support for Blackboard Original as the vendor focuses on Ultra. We have identified Brightspace by D2L and Canvas by Instructure as the two candidate systems that are now the joint market leaders in learning management systems. The review is being led by a Faculty Working Group supported by ITS, and we invite all faculty to participate in the testing process. Both vendors will be on-campus to demonstrate their LMS products on the dates below and faculty are welcome to attend and ask questions.
