Information Technology Services is considering replacing our current BlueJeans and Blackboard Collaborate tools with Zoom for web conferencing. Zoom was piloted in the Fall 2019 semester, and many end-users enjoyed its ease of use and reliability, as well as its consistency across University devices for a smooth user experience. Zoom allows for remote participant conferencing with the University’s Video Conference systems and its communications software combines web conferencing, online meetings, and chat. It’s an easy-to-use tool and a great way to communicate with faculty, students, and staff on a daily basis.
