The ITS Student Systems team is fully involved in the development and implementation of Phase 2 for CRM Advise. The primary focus of this has been to deliver on continuing needs for the Pforzheimer Honors College and Central Advisement teams, and the Student Systems team is actively working on numerous current projects that support this goal. As registration is fully underway, both advising teams from these areas are active in CRM Advise. The system has proven so far to bring tremendous value to our staff and their ability to serve the student population, especially during this season.
Likewise, we have developed several critical solutions this fall and successfully delivered them to CRM Advise. These include new data sets from Banner and improved reports, views, and interactive pieces to assist these teams daily. The next area of focus will be on designing and implementing a new success scoring plan for the general student population to assist advising as well as the introduction of new alert communications to students from the system.
This phase will continue focusing on continuing students and developing ways to better support them throughout their careers at Pace. The goal is to maximize student engagement, readily identify students in need of support, minimize the number of tools involved in the advising process, and improve student success. We are currently in weekly meetings with various stakeholders within Central Advisement to understand advisor needs, as well as the various tools they currently use on a regular basis to facilitate the advising process. We are making progress every week toward ensuring that CRM Advise will not only replace existing tools but will also improve and streamline the advising process end-to-end. We look forward to providing further updates on the successful rollout of Phase 2 for CRM Advise.
