Pace University has upgraded its Zoom subscription! Faculty, staff and students can now take full advantage of additional Zoom features to better manage your online experience. Make sure to update to the latest version of the Zoom client to experience the features below!

 

Scheduler

Access this feature from the navigation bar on pace.zoom.us. The Zoom Scheduler allows you to create a link where people can book a meeting with you from your available time slots. This could be used to set up office hours, easily manage staff’s open hours or to make contacting you easier. Just add the link to your email signature or a webpage and increase your visibility!

 

Zoom Notes

Zoom Notes is a versatile and user-friendly note-taking platform designed to enhance collaboration and productivity during online meetings and webinars.

 

Increased Webinar Access

For Zoom Webinars, the participant limit has been increased to 500 participants. Zoom webinars connect hosts with large audiences, offering structured and secure interactions through Q&A, chat, and polls. Registration ensures access control, while versatile presentation modes and recording options enhance your reach. Customize your event and gain valuable insights with analytics.

 

Meeting Size Limit Increase

For Zoom Meetings, the participant limit has also been increased from 300 to 500 participants. The Zoom meeting format offers more flexibility for all participants. For example, participants can turn on their video and audio, and see who else is in attendance. A host can also give individual participants co-host access so they are able to share their screen and collaborate.
