On behalf of the Provost’s AI Committee, we invite you to join in on the AI conversation by being a part of the Pace AI User Group. We are kicking off the fall semester with in-person sessions on each campus to assess where staff and faculty are in their AI exploration and to better understand immediate and long-term needs and concerns surrounding this topic. Members of the Provost’s AI Committee will provide updates on the tasks they were assigned and the projects they worked on over the summer.

Following the in-person sessions, online meetings will take place in October, November, and December. These virtual meetings will continue the conversation and allow us to break into smaller groups as we delve deeper into specific topics and needs.

Discussion Points May Include:

  • Opportunities or concerns related to AI
  • Participants’ experience level
  • Providing AI updates and identifying areas for further discussion
  • Creating subgroups to explore detailed AI topics
  • Involving students in discussions
  • Gauging subgroup size and interest levels
  • Determining the frequency of user group meetings
