All users of Pace University’s IT services must comply with state and federal copyright laws, as well as University policies. Using copyrighted material without permission is prohibited, even if there is no copyright notice.
Pace University’s policy forbids sharing copyrighted material without consent. Legal alternatives to illegal file sharing are available.
Penalties for copyright infringement include loss of network access, disciplinary action, and possible civil and criminal penalties.
