Need a quick way to gather feedback or schedule meetings with colleagues? Try the poll feature in Microsoft Outlook! It offers two types of quick polls you can share via email:

  • Scheduling poll: Find common time availability among meeting invitees.
  • Voting poll: Quickly collect responses to a question.

To use polls, log in to your Outlook account via email365.pace.edu or open the Outlook application on your Windows or Mac computer. Start a new email message and locate the desired poll icon on the top toolbar under the Message or Insert tab. You may also click the Apps icon on the toolbar and select Polls. You can then build and customize your poll directly in the email body before sending it.

Pro Tip: Include yourself in the recipient list to submit your own vote. You can re-open the sent email later to view all received responses. Alternatively, you can sign in to your Microsoft Forms account to track responses stored there.

For step-by-step instructions, check out the Outlook Email: Scheduling and Voting Polls article.
