The Web File System (WFS) will be retired by the end of 2025. WFS has long provided students, staff, and faculty with a way to upload and store files on a network drive and share access with others.
In recent years, OneDrive—part of Pace University’s Microsoft Office 365 subscription—has replaced WFS, offering enhanced security, storage, and collaboration tools. OneDrive offers more robust and secure online storage, as well as convenient file sharing and collaboration capabilities. It is also accessible through its own app on different devices.
More details will be shared later this year, but we encourage WFS users to begin reviewing and removing their files now.
To see if you have files saved on WFS, log in to Web File System (WFS) using your Pace Portal credentials and Duo MFA passcode.
To learn how to manage your files and download them from the system, please review the Web File System: wfs.pace.edu knowledge base article.
