As part of ongoing efforts to streamline technology tools and improve the user experience, the Citrix Virtual Lab Desktop Environment will be retired after the spring 2026 semester (mid-May).
All the same software is now available via the RDSessionFarm1 Remote Server, which will remain accessible to students, faculty, and staff. We encourage users to begin transitioning to RDSessionFarm1 ahead of time to ensure uninterrupted access to course-specific software and saved files.
You can continue using the Citrix environment through the end of the current semester. In the meantime, we recommend exploring the RDSessionFarm1 environment so you can learn how to connect remotely and get familiar with the server interface. To learn more, visit the following resources:
