Last summer, ITS Educational Media, in partnership with Accessibility Services, Facilities, and faculty representatives, completed a T-coil listening assistance installation project in select NYC campus spaces. The initiative supports individuals who use hearing aids and cochlear implants with telecoil technology.

The project has since gained national recognition from the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), which featured Pace University in its Hearing Life Magazine Fall/Winter 2025 (view digital version, page 26). The article—”How HLAA and Assistive Listening Technology Helped a Professor with Hearing Loss”—highlights the positive impact of hearing loop technology in higher education and the importance of inclusive learning environments.
