ITS has begun deploying Windows 11 on all new Pace-owned laptops and desktops through the PC Replacement Program and department funded purchases. Windows 11 is Microsoft’s latest operating system which includes many new features as well as Microsoft’s new AI tool, Copilot. Users get direct access to a GPT-4 powered AI chatbot directly from their taskbar. Copilot can perform a variety of tasks such as answering questions, providing recommendations, and generating content.
Windows 10 users can inquire about their PC replacement eligibility or request an upgrade to Windows 11 by submitting a ticket or emailing pacehelpdesk@pace.edu.
