Blackboard Maintenance:

Friday, January 5th (10:00PM) – Saturday, January 6th (6:00PM)

The Blackboard Learn system (blackboard.pace.edu) will be unavailable while we perform necessary updates.

Special Note: This downtime may affect pending student submissions and faculty grading for the previous semester (Fall 2017). Therefore, we recommend that faculty and students do their best to submit necessary work before the scheduled maintenance, or they will need to wait until after it has been completed.  Additionally, for faculty and students participating in courses that run during the January session, please note this downtime and plan your syllabi and coursework accordingly.

Blackboard Inline Grading Feature Coming Soon!

The new feature will allow students to upload over 100 different file types (such as image and video), rather than the text-only files. Additionally Instructor grading will be slightly changing. Watch for more information and webinars about these changes which will occur during our January 5th maintenance period.

Successful Launch for Qwickly!

Many professors are now taking attendance in Blackboard with Qwickly. Students can also check in online, and all attendance records can be sent to a Blackboard Grade Center column. If you would like to install it in your course, click here for a tutorial on how to add it.
