ITS implemented an option for Pace students who need to get Duo bypass codes to access Duo-protected systems. This service is meant to help students who have lost access to their Duo enrolled mobile device and/or Duo Mobile app. You can visit ADAM and click on Create Duo Bypass Codes on the right side of the page, under the Account Management section.

After logging in with your Pace username and password, you’ll need to enter an alternate (non-Pace) email address already on file in your Pace Portal profile. You’ll then receive an email in that account with a link to continue. Click on the link and correctly answer your Pace security questions, which you should already have saved in the system. You will then be provided with ten bypass codes. Each code can only be used one time and all codes will expire after 14 days of creation. To obtain additional bypass codes, just repeat the steps above.

Updating Your Non-Pace Email and Security Questions:

  • To update your non-Pace email address on file, please log in to the Pace Portal and access the Update Lived Name Pronoun link within your Student Home tab.
  • To update your security questions, please visit ADAM and click on Security Questions, under the Account Management section.
