ITS is offering two hands-on sessions this April for those who are new to Excel and want to begin using it more effectively as well as for those who have been using the application but want to take it to the next level.

Participants in the introductory session will learn the layout of Excel, understand basic Excel terminology and functionality, and be able to create simple spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel 2016. The intermediate session, for those with basic working knowledge and understanding of Excel, builds on the introductory session. Topics covered include various logical functions, filtering data to display records that meet certain criteria, and quickly summarize and analyze large amounts of data in an interactive way with a Pivot Table.
