We are happy to share that one of our team members, Georgia King, was featured in an industry publication earlier this summer. Georgia is originally from North Carolina and joined Information Technology Services (ITS) in the fall of 2022 as an Audio Visual (AV) Support Specialist. She works in the Educational Media Office on the New York City campus, where she helps to manage and support all related equipment and technology for classrooms and special events. Her role is diverse and entails handling a variety of tasks and challenges, but she also enjoys meeting and interacting with new people and answering their technology questions.

For a long time, Georgia has had a deep interest in music and live performances, but more specifically, the art of mixing sound by using AV devices and technologies which can help create a more immersive experience for an audience. This passion led her to pursue a degree in Audio Engineering, which she earned from Belmont University. As her interest in AV technology and design continue to grow, Georgia is also looking to obtain her Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification.

Please join us as we applaud Georgia for her accomplishments and future goals, as well as for being featured in this publication. The full article, titled Honoring Our Industry’s Best Talent, was published in the June 2023 edition of the Commercial Integrator publication, which covers many topics related to electronics and AV technology in many industries, including in Education.
